French Hill Works for Trump, Not Arkansas

French Hill has spent more than a decade in Washington. Today, he chairs one of the most powerful committees in Congress.

But power comes with a choice: use it for the people you represent, or use it to advance someone else’s agenda.

Again and again, Hill has made his choice.

Who does French Hill Work for? His voting record tells the story.

TRUMP’S MEDICAID CUTS

French Hill voted for H.R. 1, the Trump-backed reconciliation law. The Congressional Budget Office now projects that the law will reduce federal Medicaid spending by roughly $1.2 trillion from 2026 through 2035 and reduce Medicaid enrollment by 13.1 million people in 2035. Hill voted yes.

TRUMP’S WAR IN IRAN

When Congress considered H.Con.Res. 89, directing the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran, French Hill voted no. The resolution passed the House 214-208.

TRUMP’S BUDGET AGENDA

French Hill voted for H.Con.Res. 14, the FY 2025 congressional budget resolution that set the stage for the reconciliation legislation that followed.

About Us

Act Now Arkansas is an independent expenditure political committee focused on defeating French Hill and holding him accountable for his record in Congress.

Our case is simple: French Hill has represented Arkansas’s 2nd Congressional District since 2015. Today, he chairs the House Financial Services Committee, giving him a powerful platform in Washington.

But when the important votes come, we believe Hill’s record shows a representative increasingly willing to put Donald Trump’s agenda ahead of Arkansas.

He voted for legislation that slashed projected Medicaid spending. He voted against directing the President to end U.S. military involvement in hostilities with Iran. And he backed the budget framework that helped advance Trump’s broader legislative agenda.

French Hill has had his chance. Arkansas deserves accountability.

Act Now Arkansas communicates independently with voters about Hill’s record. We do not coordinate our strategy, spending, communications, or activities with any candidate or candidate’s committee.
